A client-side equipment HUD for Fabric 1.21.1. Loadout TC reads Vanilla, Accessories, Trinkets and Curios through one model, draws them with a styleable renderer, and lets other mods add slot sources, effects and ability timers.
Fabric 1.21.1 Client side MIT API 4
| Version | 1.0.1+1.21.1 |
|---|---|
| Minecraft | 1.21.1 (Fabric Loader 0.16+) |
| Requires | Fabric API; at least one of Accessories, Trinkets, Curios |
| Side | Client only, nothing to install on a server |
| Config | config/loadouttc.json |
▲ ▼ ordering.loadouttc-1.0.1+1.21.1.jar into .minecraft/mods.Curios on Fabric 1.21.1. Curios 9.5.1 is published for NeoForge, so the mod talks to it reflectively and only activates when the API is visible, for example through Sinytra Connector. Without it, the Accessories and Trinkets providers work normally.

Auto is the first-run default at 0.80x. The presets
run from XXS (0.50x) to 3x:
| Preset | Scale | Use it when |
|---|---|---|
Auto | 0.80x | Default on a fresh install |
XXS | 0.50x | Absolute minimum, barely visible |
XS | 0.65x | Very compact corner HUD |
S | 0.80x | The HUD should stay out of the way |
M | 1.00x | Default readable size |
L | 1.25x | Slightly larger labels and icons |
XL | 1.50x | Bigger HUD, still compact |
2x | 2.00x | Big icons, living-room distance |
3x | 3.00x | Maximum preset |
Custom | 0.50 - 3.00x | Any value in between |
If the HUD would run off screen, it is scaled down just enough to stay visible.
Ten styles sit in the editor gallery; older ids still load from existing configs. The look is built from four independent axes: panel, slot, text and layout.
| Style | Look |
|---|---|
vanilla | The real Minecraft inventory bevel, nothing else |
steel | Blue-steel frames, white focus ring, dark glass |
hex | Hexagonal wells with the gauge inside the plate |
liquid_glass | Layered translucency, light border, soft glow |
bare | No panel, no slots: only the item icons |
fantasy_rpg | Gilded double frame, torch-lit wood, gold type |
carbon | Matte black plates, rounded slots, crisp white type |
parchment | Warm paper, carved light slots, ink text |
arcane | Violet glass, hex wells, gold runes |
outline | No panel; rounded outlines and spaced uppercase labels |
All / Checked, Empty, Sort and
Check all / Clear in one row.| Layer | Styles |
|---|---|
| Durability | Bar, Seg, Pip, Txt, Val, Ring, Bat, Off |
| Cooldown (vanilla) | Arc, Txt, Bar, Frame, Off |
| Ability (from mods) | Ring, Bar, Text, Frame, Off |
Each layer has its own colour row, thickness 1-4 px, opacity, track, pulse,
reverse and text mode. Full durability bars sit at 45% opacity; below 20% they turn red and
pulse.
The API is optional and client-side. Add the jar as compileOnly, then either
register a source at runtime or declare the entrypoint so the HUD finds it at launch.
public final class MySource implements SlotSource {
public String id() { return "mymod"; }
public String label() { return "My Mod"; }
public boolean available() { return true; }
public void collect(Minecraft minecraft, Player player, boolean includeEmpty,
List<ApiSlot> out) {
ItemStack stack = myEquippedStack(player);
if (!stack.isEmpty() || includeEmpty) {
out.add(new ApiSlot(id(), "charm", "Charm", "charm", 0, stack));
}
}
}
{
"entrypoints": {
"loadouttc:slot_source": ["com.example.mymod.MySlots"]
}
}
Effects, ability timers, panel control and slot queries are documented in the API reference.
